Massage / Manual Therapy

Our massage and manual therapy sessions aim to help you recover from day-to-day stress and physical activity, reduce the sensation of pain or discomfort from injury, restore movement, induce relaxation and calm the nervous system.

  • Each session is tailored to fit your needs.

    All sessions begin with a joint-by-joint movement assessment and breathing assessment.

    Your session may include but is not limited to, a combination of manual therapy and soft tissue techniques: Myofascial release, Deep Tissue, Joint mobilization, Trigger Point Therapy, Diaphragmatic breathing, Stretching, Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, and active mobility exercises.

  • A manual therapy session is best suited for you if….

    -you have stiffness and tension causing you discomfort

    -are looking for temporary pain relief

    -are looking for a sense of relaxation

    -want or need assisted stretching

    -want to learn breathing techniques to help with sleep and anxiety.

    -you enjoy getting massage treatments because they make you feel better.

    -you use massage and passive treatment as part of your recovery plan

  • We are currently accepting NYSHIP Empire Plan and HSA funds.

1:1 Coaching

Our 1:1 coaching delivers a personalized exercise program, education, and mentorship to help you get back to enjoying the things you love most. We provide a practical solution for complex problems.

    • First we set up a discovery call to determine if working together is the right fit. If not, we will do our best to refer you to someone locally.

    • If a fit, we invite you to an in-person consultation to take a deeper dive into understanding your situation, conduct a movement assessment, deliver relevant education, and begin crafting your plan.

    • Once we get started- we continue with additional assessments to help us build a program that is right for you.

    • We will meet in person or you will follow a program remotely. This is determined during our consultation.

    • You will eventually gain the confidence and freedom to live a long term active life.

  • You are a right fit for 1:1 Coaching if:

    • you finished physical therapy, and your doctor told you to ease back into activity, but you are unsure how

    • You want to be active again but don’t know where to start

    • You don’t exercise because you are afraid of getting hurt or reinjured

    • You got hurt in your favorite group fitness class and can no longer participate.

    • You feel like you’re always told what to do but never guided on how to do it for yourself

    • You’ve tried all of the quick fixes to get out of pain, but they only provide temporary relief.

    • It’s been years since you stepped foot in a gym, and you want to start again.

    • You want to be educated and build competency so you no longer need to rely on a coach.

  • Currently accepting HSA funds with a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN)
